Join us in the JFT Online Fine Wine Auctions

We’ve been working hard to bring you the best in class solution to selling your wine collections. In addition to our usual 5 Star service for assisting collectors to liquidate, balance or rationalise their holdings, we are now able to offer an easy to use online auction service, benefitting both buyers and sellers.

  • Access to rare and ready to drink wines.
  • Buyers’ Premium of 15% (+VAT) is much more attractive than traditional auction houses.
  • Sellers’ Commission of 8% (+VAT) is very favourable against most traditional brokers.
  • Every lot is physically checked and photographed before being listed.
  • Wines are professionally stored under optimal conditions.
  • Log in to the JFT Auctions App to easily bid whilst on the move.

Why buy through our auction?

We offer a fresh approach to buying wines at auction: transparency on fees (on both sides of the trade), as well as an easy to use mobile app so you can watch and bid whilst on the go. We physically check each and every lot in our warehouse before we list it on our platform, so you can trust that each wine is exactly as described. In addition to a competitive Buyer’s Premium, we also offer storage in our bonded warehouse (LCB Vinotheque) at a very competitive price, giving you the option to keep your wines in perfect storage conditions until you are ready to take delivery of them.

Why sell through our auction?

Simply put, we are able to offer a complete solution for anyone looking to move their collection on. We understand that while an excellent route to market, wine auctions aren’t necessarily the best option for every wine. With an excellent global network of trading partners and private collectors, we are best placed to make sure you maximise your return by ensuring each wine is marketed via the most appropriate channel.

Storage and Provenance

Each lot on sale is checked onsite in our warehouse (LCB Vinotheque - the oldest and largest Government Bonded Warehouse) to ensure perfect provenance and condition to allow you to purchase in confidence. High-resolution photographs of all stock are provided to show you exactly how the wines are offered. We keep detailed records of provenance as we understand this is important to wine buyers.

Competitive rates

Compared to the bricks and mortar auction houses who typically charge a Buyer’s Premium between 20% and 22% on top of the Hammer Price (+VAT), as a specialist wine auctioneer, we charge a much fairer 15% (+VAT), making your purchase much better value. As a seller, we offer Seller’s Commission of just 8% on the Hammer Price (+VAT) compared to the industry standard of 10%.
